“Rainbow Horses”
Story:
Horses dash with energy during a spectacular rainbow in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The real magic of this photo is all in the timing.
Totally unexpected.
Totally unplanned.
(It happened while driving from Grand Teton National Park to Pocatello, Idaho.)
The sun was close to setting just outside of Idaho Falls when this brilliantly rich rainbow appeared. Realizing how fleeting this opportunity was, I frantically checked my surroundings to see if there was anything of interest to compliment this rainbow.
There wasn’t much around – just fields and more fields. But fortunately, there were a couple horses grazing in a nearby field. The horses surprised by my presence became curious. Their curiosity drew them near. Stopping to stare at me they suddenly dashed away.
