“Guarding The Way”
Story:
A Joshua tree guards an army of desert shrubs marching along to a gulley in the red rock canyon.
The air was charged with electricity.
A round of thunderstorms would eventually pass through – quenching the thirst of the Joshua tree and his foot soldiers
(This unusual weather for the desert occurred due to tropical storm Sergio.)
My fortune had advanced the timetable of my trip and I was in Nevada earlier than scheduled. While I missed out on other opportunities due to tropical storm Sergio, I did find myself in this unique position to capture storm clouds in the desert.
What a rare treat!
