“Chosen One”
Story:
A rainbow “chooses” the middle of three palm trees on an autumn’s evening at Newport Beach, California.
Even while on vacation, I feel the need to create and explore. I had spent the majority of the day exploring Disneyland and wanted to do something different, so I made for the beach for sunset.
I thought there might be a chance for a gorgeous sunset since a storm had passed through earlier. As I was walking from my car to the beach, a rainbow unexpectedly appeared as if summoned by the photography gods.
Immediately, I began looking around for something to compliment the rainbow.
Eyeing these three palms, I maneuvered myself so that the rainbow appeared to strike the one in the middle. (As for that spectacular sunset I was hoping for, it was nothing compared to the rainbow.)
This was photographed during the same evening as “Rainbow Grove”.
