“Brücke & Schloss”

Story:
Brücke means bridge in German and Schloss means castle. Both the bridge and the castle are iconic symbols of Heidelberg and are made from red sandstone that radiates against the forest. They show up in just about any postcard view of the city and deservingly so!
I enjoyed walking along the bank of the Neckar River, watching how the castle and bridge moved in relation to each other until they “slotted” into place for a composition I felt complimented each other.
