Old Grist Mill at Babcock State Park in West Virginia is surrounded by a color palette that belies the time of the year: spring.
The leaves have yet to mature but they have a light and colorful look that gives the photograph an autumn like appearance.
Autumn is definitely the time of the year when most photographs are photographed from here.
You bet I would have been here in the autumn, too, but I was passing through on my way to meet family in Virginia (I had just parted from seeing family in West Virginia.)
Curious to see what the place looked like in spring, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was more than just green.
